I'm here for a couple of reasons. 1) I want to learn, 2) I love exploring so many different types and styles of art. I've recently become aware that while I am well versed in photoshop, I know nearly nothing about using it as a painting studio, and a lot of the techniques and types of art I'd like to try are firmly based in using Photoshop in that way. So I could really use some help. I have been going through as many tutorials as I can find (as my favorites demonstrate
I'm a very detailed person and while lessons that teach technique and application are preferred, having to choose between the two, I would opt for the detailed technique. And when I say details I mean starting with the basics. So if anyone is willing to mentor a very inquisitive student, or point me in the right direction to learn this material it would be greatly appreciated.
I've rediscovered my love for creating art and giving a physical existence to images, thoughts, and emotion... and I'm looking forward to expressing/exercising my creativity.
Thanks in advance
Mr. Chris

To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
